John photographed a number of life's milestones for my family: my wedding, maternity, baby's portraits and first birthday. He also photographed my family in gardens and hikes. His photos have a film-like picturistic quality to them and he is able to capture something very special and human. These photos bring back memories and tell a story. I usually avoid taking photos because I'm not photogenic at all, but with John I don't have that fear, and that says a lot. I would recommend him to all of my friends.

I had the privelege of having John as our photographer for our engagement photos. John is an amazing photographer and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a photographer. Not only did he do a great job on taking amazing photos, he also went out of his way to make sure we have an amazing experience as well. My fiance and I hired John for our wedding on October 12, 2019. John also included our engagement photos in the package! John and his assistant were very accommodating, as we live an hour and a half away, there were never any travel fees! We were quite nervous for the engagement shoot and John made us feel so comfortable and we were all laughing by the end!
Quickly our wedding day approached, and John and his assistant spent the whole day with us, from capturing the girls at the hair salon, to the girls getting glammed up and having mimosas at my house! It was a great day and finally, 12 hours later it was time to say goodbye. The moments that were captured had everyone laughing, I highly recommend the candid reception shots!
About a month later John made another trip to my home and dropped off a beautiful canvas of a wedding photo of our choosing, and also made a book for us of our best photos, including engagement photos and all the major soedial moments of our day! We were so pleased with how everything came together!

My husband and I hired John for our reception dinner in December 2019. He took pictures for our photoshoot, shower and the reception and he surpassed all our expectations.
